"The unfolding patterns of the Tarot peek out as we gain meaning to see our way illuminated. It is a gift and a responsibility, the reading of cards."

Tarot is the narration of humanity, an algorithm of our human journey, a way to understand the ineffable and unseen patterns of life.

It is a path of healing and support that has been collectively crafted for thousands of years, offering support and insight for our journey of life, for countless generations of seekers.

This ancient knowledge is yours to learn, yours to benefit from in your everyday life and in the lives of those who ask for your help.

There is deep wisdom here. Dive in!

Personal experience is the deepest way to learn.

Truly, life itself engages as part of our student journey,

if we let it.

Wait for the magic. It's there.

I will guide you through the process of becoming a master Tarot reader,
but you must do the homework to get there with complete confidence and competence. Life really is about focus and practice.

Are you ready to master the Tarot?

I know, it looks like a lot to learn, and it is!

This course is designed to gently lead you through the mysteries and magic of each card until they become as familiar as your favourite characters in the very best stories. Once you know the individual cards, and where they sit in the algorythm of the tarot,  you will never forget them or their special place in the story of life.

You can take your time and do it at your own pace.

The course can be done in 3-6 months, but taking a year or more to really savour and experience each nuance will allow this knowledge to integrate as part of your everyday life.

You have access to this course as long as you wish and can revisit for brush ups in years to come.

I think you will find that this is a course that you can do over and over, and will glean new insights and deeper understandings each time you circle it though again.

Personal mentorship can be accessed for those who want  one on one Zoom time,

but this course is designed to support you through the growing wisdom of the Tarot on your own.

You can also work as a group with the mentorship program!

What will we be studying?

First, we will talk about the history of the Tarot and some of its journey into todays consciousness.

When did the Tarot divide into two systems?

What do the members of the Golden Dawn have to do with some of the splits and divergences

the Tarot now expresses in our modern world?

Knowing the roots and the history is important if you want the full wisdom of the Tarot to work with!

We begin our journey with an introduction to what the Tarot system is, and how this ancient algorythm works, and why the Tarot differs from Oracle cards, will give you the template of understanding to build on

as we go through the componants that make up the Tarot.

Part One the MAJOR ARCANA

In part one, we focus on the Major Arcana cards, getting to know the patterns of life as they unfold through the Major Arcana system.

The Major Arcana are the codes representing the forces bigger than us, the movement of the Cosmos and Earth, the unfurling patterns of humanity, the sacred algorithms of life itself.

Understanding their sequence means understanding the patterns of life, accessing the foreknowledge to prepare for what's to come, and to work with the Arcana energy in the best possible ways!

From the potentials offered by the very first card in the system, 0 FOOL, representing unlimited possibilities we begin the first cycle through these ancient patterns of life, traveling the path of the Tarot through first 10 cards, culminating with Card 10 WHEEL of FORTUNE.

From there we we travel to the next round of trials and tribulations in the second cycle from card 11 to 20, where we face some of the tough energies of life, which leads us to the second completion with card 20, JUDGEMENT.

All we have learned through the two rounds of 1-10, and 11-20, (picture the infinity sign!), is accumulated in the final card of the Major Arcana. Card 21, WORLD, which pours back into Fool, adding to the potentials and possibilities we have gathered as we begin our next spiral of infinity through life.

Understanding how the Major Arcana cards unfold into each other, is deciphering the very codes of life itself.

This is why the Tarot is not only a system of learning about ourselves, and each other, but also allows for divination as we learn to read the algorythms of life.

Part 2 the MINOR ARCANA

The second section introduces the minor arcana, what the suits mean and what the numbers themselves articulate.

All life can be understood through the four directions teachings which are sacred to the Celts, and most of the other ancient cultures of todays British Isles. The four directions are also saceed knowledge in most traditional North American Nations, as well as South American, many European, African and Asian cultures see the four directions as sacred guides as well. .

I use it in my teachings in the way I was taught when learning the Tarot, and it may be diferent than your cultural teachings.

The Four Directions I I learned them.

East, Air, Mental, beliefs, knowledge and understandings.  The Swords in the Minor Arcana

South, Fire, Spirit, will, passion, charisma, desire. The Wands

West, Water, emotions, dreams, unconscious understandings, intuition. The Cups

North, Earth, Body, physicality, manifestation, wealth, home, work, health. The Discs or Pentacles

Learn how the minor cards interact with the major arcana and how each suit expresses our human responses to the bigger cosmic influences, as we move through the cycles of our life.

Pentacles, Cups, Swords and Wands, or Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, and Clubs, or Earth Water, Air and Fire, the suits represent our reactions physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Understanding the cards of the Minor Arcana teach us about our personal reactions and actions.

We have control over how we respond to the Major Arcana, even though we can't control those forces in our lives.

Seeing how we are reacting gives us choice in how to proceed!

In the Minor Arcana, we have the choice to change ourselves, our ideas, attitudes or behaviours, and thus, we can change the trajectory of our story and influence the impact of the Major Arcana.

Part 3 PEOPLE CARDS / COURT CARDS

The third section is where we meet the People cards or Court cards and get to know the personalities that reflect the human archetypes the Tarot offers us.

Earth, Air, Fire and Water, the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional archetypes of humanity come to life when we meet the personalities of the people of the Tarot.

The balance of masculine and feminine is not about gender but attributes and essences that we all share within ourselves, and we will learn to work with these cards to find balance within and to understand ourselves and each other better.

Understanding the 16 personality types of the Tarot gives us a deeper understanding of the people in our lives.

After we really get to know the players of the Tarot deck, the Major and Minor Arcana and the People Cards, we can learn about layouts & intuitive readings, responsibilities and ethics involved with being a really good Tarot reader.

Take your time with each individual card to really understand them.

The images can tell us a lot, but each card has an in-depth lesson about its particular essence, the energy it represents and its influences on us, and you will get to know and understand each one.

Knowing the cards intimately, not just memorized or read out of a book, not only allows you to be flawless when reading for others, but you can then work with the whole system as an intricate code for living a good life.

Part Four

LAYOUTS, READINGS & GOOD PRACTICES

We will have practiced some Tarot spreads and readings throughout the class, but here in section four, we will dive deeply into how to read all the cards and will play with a few spreads you can use in your future as a Tarot reader. We will look at ethics, intuition, and all the tricks of the trade that you can take ownership of as you become the best reader you can be.
